Update 33

It was the twins birthday finally! Amos threw a big bash for them at the night club. Urban and Chase were very excited to be teens. Urban knew he could finally do more meetings and maybe even do some on his own. Chase was ready to work on his fitness; he couldn't be an astronaut without being fit!

(Urban)
(Chase)

Having waited till after the birthday party, Tricia eventually went to Amos to talk. They had a sit at the fountains in the front lawn, were they had gotten married.

"Amos. You've been too good to me and the kids. And I know I've hurt you. I don't want to cause anymore trouble for you or my boys. So I've decided to join the monastery. Will you agree to that?"

"Sigh. I do. If that's what you think will make you happy. I wanted us to work this out, but I know it wouldn't have worked if we're both not into it. Don't worry about the boys. I love them all as my own. I will take care of them."

"I know you will. The youngest two, Ruben and Matthew, will you send them to the monastery's boarding school? That way I can be close to them. I know the oldest will visit often."

"Sure. We will need the space should I remarry."

"Please, do remarry. It is the law that the king must always be married, and I know you will make someone else very happy."

And with that, the two divorced quietly, and Tricia made her way to the monastery.

Amos was very sad about the whole situation. He tried to distract himself with his music and taking care of baby Matthew, but nothing helped.

Aunrae just wanted his mother to be happy and visited her, and Sister Adelynn, often. Chase turned his focus to his exercise, while Urban tried his best to cheer up his father.

"Come on dad. I know you love her, so don't you want her to be happy?" Urban hugged Amos, "Besides you still got us."

"Thank you Urban. Hey, why don't you take care of some diplomatic work for me this week? I know you like traveling."

"Really!? Thanks dad!"

Urban did a lot of traveling in the following days. He meet new people wherever he went. In-between destinations he would grab a bite to eat from what ever was nearby. In some cases that was just fresh fruit. Other times it was a meal with some ambassadors.

Celeste was spending much of her time at the Galactic Embassy that they eventually asked her to move in and work there. With this, she had the opportunity to frequent Sixam and meet fellow aliens.

Eventually Matthew aged up. With no queen and no housekeeper, Amos felt it was time for Ruben and Matthew to go live at boarding school. He discussed it with both boys and they were very excited.

The next day Amos took them to the boarding school. They toured the classrooms and Amos meet with the Sister who ran it.

"I've spoken with Queen..I mean, Sister Tricia about your boys attending here, and they are quite welcomed. I assure you they will be well taken care of."

With his youngest boys taken care of, Amos now had to turn his attention back to the main household. He had no queen and no housekeeper. Things would have to change sooner rather than later.

Update 34

"Uggghhh. I cannot believe father sent us on another meeting. Why can't he go to them all. He's still a young king, it will be forever before I'm king. Not that I want to do all this when I am." Aunrae II groaned.

"Ah, come on. You know he just wants us all to be prepared. I mean nothing is certain. Something could happen and boom! Your king! You've got to take this more seriously." Urban insisted.

They were on their way to meet with the Fujioka family, but got a little lost. Make that, a lot lost. They stumbled onto a small camp.

"Hello, where Princes from the Tudor Kingdom. Who are you, and what is this place?" Urban aasked.

"I'm Ash. This is the Slave Camp of the Forrest Tribe. You boys are pretty far from home. It's not good to be traveling through these lands so late. Other tribes may not be so nice."

Urban chatted for a while with these men before Aunrae got annoyed.

"Come on Urban, let's go. This place is so weird." Aunrae dragged his brother away, "I cannot believe you got us lost, and are still trying to make friends. And with Amazon slaves?"

"I got us lost? Father asked you to go to this meeting! I was just following you."

"Oh! Well maybe if you quit trying to suck up to dad you wouldn't be in this mess. Find your own way home! I'm out of here!" Aunrae stormed off.

Urban rolled his eyes. Like Aunrae was going to find his way back alone. Urban didn't care. He had not been to this area in some time however. So he thought he'd explore some.

Lost in exploration, Urban didn't realize how late it had gotten. In the dark he was a little unsure where he was, and was glad to notice a young lady off in the distance.

"Oh good, I found someone. Newcrest certainly is bare after dark. I was a little worried...and lost. Sorry, I'm Prince Urban."

The girl was shy but did help Urban get out of Newcrest. He was very grateful for her help. He knew the kingdom and the tribes agreed to not get involved. But he really hoped to meet this girl, Harmony, again.

Meanwhile, Amos visited Tricia for the first time since they divorced.

"You look great Trich. *cough* Sister."

"It's okay, you can call me Tricia. I'm glad to see you. And I am really happy here. All my life I tried to surround myself with others and noise, but here is so peaceful. Plus, I still get to go out and mingle. Just now it's to serve the community."

"I'm glad you found your place." Amos hugged Tricia.

Back at the Tudor house, the once thriving carrot plant Amos had planted for his ex wife was withering away.

"I need a new queen, according to the law anyway. But I'm not sure I'm ready."

"Don't rush your decision Amos, but also don't take too long. You will find someone suitable for queen and have many more heirs." Blakely reassured the king.

Aunrea II was also turning his attention to women, just the one's he really shouldn't. He often talked with Sister Adelynn and eventually invited her over. She only came because she wished to serve the community in any way possible. She hoped to advise the young prince, but he hoped to finally win her over.

While Aunrae tried getting "his" girl, Urban was getting into his own forbidden relationship. He had sought the amazon girl, Harmony, out again. They two quickly became friends and spent a lot of time together. Eventually Urban invited Harmony to the Tudor house.

"This is where you live? Wow! It's so different from amazon camps. I've been thinking, I want to live in your kingdom."

"Really? You wouldn't miss your tribe? I don't want to break up your family. I know what it's like."

"Yes, I'm sure. You always talk about meeting new people and traveling. Well, I want to do that too. With you. Can I live here too?"

"Well, we are in need of a new housekeeper. I'd want to talk it over with you mother. I mean, I don't want to start a conflict between the kingdom and tribe. Could you arrange a meeting?"

"Yes! Oh, sorry, I'm just excited. Yes, I will ask my mother."

In the following week, Urban meet with Harmony's mother, Ridge. It had taken some convincing, but she finally agreed to let her daughter join the Tudor household.

With a new housekeeper coming on board, maybe a new queen was soon to follow.

Update 32

In the days that followed the vow renewal, Amos spent time with Chase.

"Can we view the stars together? Please?" Chase begged.

"Okay. I've got some time."

"Do you think aunt Celeste is up there right now? Probably. She loves space! When I grow up, I want to explore space too!"

Amos smiled to himself. He didn't care what anyone said; He loved his boys.

On his time off, Amos hung out with Blakely. They often went to museums or parks to just chill. Blakely wasn't like other ladies. She didn't care that Amos was king, so she didn't have any alternative motives for being his friend.

The next day, Tricia went into labor. She wasn't sure Amos would come, but ever the caring person, he accompanied her to the hospital. Together they welcomed Prince Matthew into the kingdom. The people cheered at the news of another heir. A 5th son in the Tudor house. But there were also many speculations spreading throughout the kingdom, and people began to wonder about the heirs.

Tricia heard what people were saying and thinking and it just didn't feel good to her. She wanted to make things right, but knew there was little she could do. She had hoped the vow renewal would have quieted things down a bit, but it didn't.

"Amos. I think I need some time to think things over. Just give me some time."

"Of course. Take your time, and let me know what you decide."

On her way to think things over, Brandon showed up at the house.

"I haven't seen you in a while Babe. How's the new baby? How's Ruben?" Brandon asked.

"They're both fine. I cannot talk now. I'm heading out. I'll catch you later, okay?"

"But, it's been so long Babe."

"I'm heading to the monastery. You can meet me there later. Okay? I really got to go."

So Brandon left and Tricia took a deep breath before heading out.

"Sisters, I just don't feel happy about how I've been living. I need a major change. And, this may be a bit drastic, but, I would like to know if I could possible join the monastery."

"That certainly is quite drastic. You should really think this over. But we will tell you all it will take to become a Sister of the Watcher. Then you can decide later."

While Tricia was meeting with the older Sisters, Aunrae II was trying his hand with one of the younger Sisters. Quite confident, he tried flirting with Sister Adelynn. She was less than impressed and giggled at his attempts.

When she was just leaving the monastery, Brandon showed up to meet Tricia.

"What brings you here?" Brandon asked, "Amos have you running errands?"

"No. I am thinking about joining the Sisters."

"What! You? You know they don't date right? Or have kids? Or fun? If you're that unhappy with Amos, dump him and live with me!"

"No. It's not about Amos. Or you. If I do this it's for me. I'm not happy with how I've been and I don't want to create any scandals. If I do leave the Tudor house, it cannot be for you."

So Tricia broke up with Brandon.

She still wanted to think things over before she told Amos her decision. Amos waited patiently for Tricia to make a decision.
